Spring (annual)
Nikolay Petev Recital Competition
An annual competition of poetry and the spoken word, bearing the name of the writer Nikolay Petev, who was closely connected with Debnevo. Established in 2005 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Prosveta community centre; the 21st edition in 2026.

Children's Festival — Children's Day
A celebration for the youngest to mark International Children's Day, with games and entertainment, organised by the Prosveta – 1905 community centre.

Free admissionJam on the River International Festival
Jazz, folklore, world music and contemporary visual arts by the Vidima River — four days of music under the stars of the Troyan Balkan, with free admission.
17 October 2026 (the Saturday after St. Petka's Day)
Village Fair — St. Petka's Day (Petkovden)
The traditional village fair in honour of St. Petka (Paraskeva) — the church feast day. In 2026 the kurban (the communal meal) for residents and guests is on 17 October — the Saturday after the church feast.
